Job Summary:

Our client, a Thai listed energy company with three core businesses - energy resources; energy generation and energy technology - is currently seeking a talented lawyer to join their team as a Vice President. This role will support the Head of the Legal Department in supervising the team responsible for handling all legal affairs across the entire group of companies.

Responsibilities:

· To assist Head of Legal Department in leading and developing the team members of Legal Department.

· To partner project team in contract negotiation with counterparties as owner representative to meet requirement of the Company.

· To draft, review, revise, and negotiate all commercial and project agreements to ensure the company and its group's optimal interests.

· To conduct preliminary legal due diligence and monitor full legal due diligence investigation by external law firms and reports.

· To supervise all corporate and legal affairs for the company and its group.

· To manage disputes and lawsuits.

· To provide legal advice and practical solutions for projects and contracts to ensure compliance with transaction terms and legal requirements.

· To provide effective contractual risk management and promote awareness within the organization.

· To collaborate with Country Legal Heads in handling any legal matters upon request.

Qualifications:

· At least 20 years of experience in corporate and commercial law practice. Experience to cross border Merger and Acquisition transactions is a must.

· Well-rounded, and capable of handling project contracts, corporate tasks, as well as litigation and arbitration cases

· Strong ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks effectively.

· Ability to communicate complex legal matters clearly and understandably.

· Confidence in persuasion, articulation, and discussing legal issues, transactions, and strategies.

· Excellent command of both spoken and written English. (TOEIC score of at least 900).

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

· Excellent interpersonal skills, proactive, professional, and adaptable approach to work, hardworking, well-organized, and detail-oriented.
