Travel and Accommodation Management Officer

Job Summary:
Responsibilities:

Engage all employees to understand travel needs, budgets, and build a travel management execution that is consistent with company's policy & management direction, while communicating the program value and benefits to employees

Manage relationships with our travel agency, airliners, and hotels. This includes measuring service levels and working with our affiliated offices overseas, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement department to negotiate a cost-effective program and effective travel management arrangement as per requested by employees.

Manage global online booking processes/tools, measuring volume and employee acceptance.

Manage designated airline, hotel, and car rental suppliers.

Provide leadership in evolving and communicating the global travel management policy.

Coordinate the development and enhancement of global reporting tools for management and business units, monitoring travel spend, and employee policy compliance.

Conduct periodic management briefings such as quarterly business reviews and monthly metrics reports.

Interact with employees, management, affiliated offices overseas and suppliers to resolve traveling service issues for employees.

Cooperate with IT to manage Travel Authorization workflow system & content, ensuring information accuracy and efficient work process.

Benchmark industry standards and new industry trends

Work closely with the accounting department to administer the payment to the travel agency and hotels.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in any fields
-
Minimum of 2 years of relevant management experience in the travel industry. Working experience in tickets & hotel booking will be a plus.

Experience in an effective Travel application or start up tools is an advantage.

Knowledge of Traveling Expenses reporting and processing

Proficient technology skills including travel/ airline programs and Microsoft Office suite of products.

Strong organizational, problem-solving skills and strong service mind

Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

Proficiency in creating instructional materials, web-based training, classroom materials, user guides FAQs, and manuals is an advantage.

Command skills and ability to earn the trust of our internal customers, stakeholders, and staff.

Ability to travel 10%-20%, including some international travel.

Good command of English communication. (Required TOEIC score minimum: 500)
