Section Manager - Capability Partner

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main contact for teams on using Banpu Academy’s innovation frameworks, tools, and templates, offering guidance as needed.
• Oversee the innovation funnel and portfolio register by ensuring that all ideas are appropriately submitted, documented, categorized, and directed to the designated owners and decision forums according to the agreed process.
• Organize stage-gate or milestone reviews—such as screening, concept, pilot, and implementation—ensuring all necessary documents are prepared and the relevant stakeholders participate in decision-making.
• Track the progress of innovation projects managed by other teams, address any delays or risks, and escalate concerns when decisions or additional support are required.
• Regularly update section leadership and corporate innovation by maintaining dashboards and reports that track pipeline status, throughput, cycle times, and implementation rates.
• Communicate Academy campaigns, deadlines, and decisions to stakeholders.
• Facilitate lessons‑learned capture and closure documentation when initiatives are completed or stopped, ensuring knowledge is recorded and shared.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Arts, Sciences, or other related fields
• Passionate about coordinating and managing innovation, research, or hackathon programs, and eager to grow in this area.
• Experience participating in incubation programs or hackathons is an added advantage.
• Interest or basic knowledge in areas such as design, learning and development, behavioral psychology, employee experience, or human capital development is preferred.
• Fluent communication in both written and spoken English.
