Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for media relations activities, i.e., press release, press conference, media interview, media sponsorship, both proactive and reactive in supporting Banpu brand and reputation.
  • Maintain effective media database and close working relationships with Thai and foreign media (Online and Offline).
  • Plan and implement PR activities through both traditional and new media platforms to create impactful media coverage with measurable PR results.
  • Translate Company’s and Management’s particular thought leadership contents and key messages into communications attractive to the media and the public. 
  • Design creative content and format to communicate Company’s strategy, business progress, initiatives, and corporate branding messages through target media and KOLs.
  • Perform issue and crisis communications efficiently to mitigate reputational risks to the Company, when needed.
  • Arrange media training for the Company's spokespersons as well as related executives and staff.
  • Provide communication support and supervision to Banpu’s other business units and subsidiaries in both routine tasks and particular projects.
  • Collaborate and connect with the unit of Brand Management, CSR, and Internal Communications in the Corporate Communication Department for seamless communication deliverables to all of the Company’s target audiences. 
  • Take ad-hoc assignments or special tasks relating to Brand Management, CSR, and Internal Communications as assigned. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Mass Communications, Communication Arts, English or related field.
  • Having 5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or related fields.
  • Hold professional speaking, writing, and presentation skills in Thai and English. (TOEIC score 700 and above.) 
  • Hold project management and event organizing skills.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to travel aboard and upcountry as assigned.
  • Able to work under pressure and unexpected scenarios.
  • Able to work hard and sometimes at odd hours.
  • Good team player with positive attitude.
  • Pleasant personality with good interpersonal skill and service mind.
