Job Summary:

First Line Manager - Coal Mining and Processing - Mine Planning

Responsibilities:

Supporting on sustainable mining (the balancing of economic growth, well-being, and public health, and the conservation of natural resources and the environment); a specialist is assigned to

  • assess the sustainability of mining throughout the entire life cycle, including pre-feasibility studies, operation, and closure phases
  • determine liabilities and environmental impacts during operation phase, including identify key indicators for measuring, and monitoring,
  • provide expertise on improving various environmental performance, including
    • minimizing land disturbance,
    • pollution reduction, especially acid mine drainage and greenhouse gases (achieving NET ZERO), as well as
    • closure and reclamation of disturbed mining areas
  • create the Mine Closure Standard
  • provide Void Management plan to support the Mine planning

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, or related field
  • Environmental experiences in mining business 15 years minimum
  • Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Pleasant personality with good interpersonal skill and service mind
  • Able to communicate various stakeholders and manage task deadlines
  • Ability to travel overseas periodically
  • Good command of spoken & written English (Minimum TOEIC Score 700)
