Manager - Financial Reporting

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a focal point on accounting topics and provide guidance to finance colleagues in the Group to ensure proper accounting treatment and alignment
• Build relationships with cross functional teams to identify accounting implication of new arrangements or transactions
• Manage consolidation team, ensure accurate and timely month-end close including review consolidation tasks and complex elimination entries
• Oversee the preparation of the annual and quarterly consolidated financial statements in compliance with TFRS and IFRS
• Coordinate with external auditors, provide supporting documentation and accounting memo on complex transactions
• Supervise on preparation of Group Financial Reporting Guideline which are specific to the Group accounting practices
• Recommend and assist with the improvement of consolidation tools to simplify, standardize, and streamline process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Certified Public Accounting (CPA) required
• At least 12 years of accounting related work experience, including TFRS and IFRS financial reporting and consolidation, experience in a public accounting firm, experience in a large multinational company is a plus
• Comprehensive knowledge of TFRS and IFRS; specific areas include consolidation, impairment, business combination and financial instrument
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable interacting with peers and senior leadership
