Manager - Enterprise Application

Job Summary:

We are implementing SAP S/4HANA across our regional operations (Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and US). This role will act as a core functional analyst primarily owning Product Costing and Cost Management, with extended involvement in Project Costing, within a versatile team supporting our enterprise ERP landscape. We are looking for a proactive professional who understands end-to-end business operations, values cross-functional alignment, and sees the complete financial and operational flow beyond isolated transactions.

Responsibilities:

Project Implementation:

• Work closely with Accounting and Operations teams across four countries to understand their day-to-day operations and current costing methods, helping bridge actual business practices into clear functional requirements.

• Review and validate functional designs with the implementation partner, covering standard costing, actual costing, cost allocations, inventory valuation, and project cost tracking.

• Ensure seamless data integration between SAP costing functions and surrounding operations—including general ledger, procurement, inventory, maintenance/production, and sales/billing.

• Drive system integration testing (SIT) test scenarios and cutover readiness for costing and project accounting tracks.

• Build internal solution capability and system ownership to ensure a smooth transition from project implementation to internal operation.

Post Go-Live: 

• Support business users during stabilization and resolve operational or transactional discrepancies in SAP efficiently.

• Partner with Finance on period-end and year-end closing procedures, variance analyses, and costing/allocation runs.

• Manage external SAP support vendors regarding service levels (SLA) and deliverable quality.

• Identify continuous improvement opportunities, system optimizations, and reporting enhancements as business operations evolve.

• Collaborate with the broader ERP team to support adjacent business processes and contribute to cross-functional capability development.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, or a related field.

• 3+ years of hands-on SAP functional and configuration experience, specifically in Product Costing, Inventory Valuation, and Cost Allocation.

• Experience in project costing is a plus.

• Strong capability to translate complex business costing requirements into robust SAP functional designs and independently troubleshoot integration issues.

• Clear understanding of end-to-end integration touchpoints between costing/controlling and other enterprise functions (Procurement, Inventory, Maintenance, Fixed Assets, and General Ledger).

• Prior experience in multi-company, multi-country SAP implementations; background in energy, mining, heavy industry, or manufacturing is strongly preferred.

• Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with cross-functional business users and implementation vendors.

• Proficiency in Thai and English.
