Job Summary:

As an Investment Associate, Corporate Venture Capital team, you will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting investment decision-making processes. Your expertise in financial analysis, combined with your proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, will enable you to provide actionable insights and contribute to the strategic goals of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth industry analysis/market research of potential investment opportunities and continuous monitoring of news/events/market conditions and regulatory changes that could affect the portfolio companies performance
  • Generate insights from market data and conduct scenario analysis
  • Evaluate investment proposals, conduct due diligence, make recommendations based on thorough analysis
  • Develop, review and maintain financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, support investment decisions and forecast portfolio performance by using tools such as Excel, Bloomberg, and other financial software
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions. Analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations to communicate financial findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information relevant to the investment opportunities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g. CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, financial advisory, or related fields
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal english communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. (TOEIC score 700 and above.)
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with financial tools such as Bloomberg is a plus.
  • Strong research skills. Able to source, analyze and summarize data from various sources.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self motivated and proactive, with a strong drive to achieve results
