Internship Qualifications
• Undergraduate students currently studying in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year, depending on the requirements of each position. Graduate students are also welcome to apply.
• Minimum GPA of 2.75.
• Demonstrate a “Can-Do Attitude” and willingness to learn.
• Able to participate in the onsite internship program at Banpu Head Office:

Responsibilities:
- Support the Enterprise Intelligence Platform development by assisting in the development of AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows, and decision-support features for business use cases.
- Help prepare, clean, and structure internal and external data for use in Databricks, vector search, and AI-ready pipelines.
- Assist in building and testing prototype AI workflows using Azure AI services, Databricks, Python, and open-source agent frameworks where applicable.
- Contribute to evaluation activities, including prompt testing, response quality review, hallucination checking, and documentation of limitations and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare clear technical notes, experiment summaries, and user-facing explanations to support knowledge transfer within the Data Science and D&I/IT teams.
Qualifications:
- Currently studying in the final year of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Good foundation in Python programming and basic experience with data preparation, data analysis, machine learning, or API-based application development.
- Basic understanding of generative AI, large language models, RAG, prompt engineering, or chatbot development is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, SQL, Git, LangChain, LangGraph, or vector databases is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical thinking, curiosity to learn enterprise AI systems, and willingness to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Good communication skills, teamwork mindset, and ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and understandable way.
