Corporate Venture Capital Analyst

Job Summary:

Banpu PCL. is looking for individuals to join the Corporate Venture Capital (CVC) team to help accelerate our ability to adopt new innovations and create new business segments for the company.  Team members will be presented with the opportunity to interact with leading global start-up companies in the clean technology, healthcare/biotech, and other emerging technology sectors.  There will also be opportunities to interact with senior management members throughout the global Banpu organization.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Corporate Venture Capital team by coordinating execution of investments by working with legal, tax, and finance teams.
• Maintain and update database of investable companies in strategically important sectors.
• Conduct industry research to support investment activities for the CVC team.
• Attend industry conferences to keep abreast of trends in focus sectors.
• Prepare presentations for the Investment Committee and the Board of Directors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a scientific/engineering/medical field
• Knowledge of MS Office, with strong proficiency in MS Excel
• Strong presentation and writing skills
• Ability to interpret and create financial statements
• Ability to analyze facts and figures in a rapid manner
• Advanced level of proficiency in English (Required TOIEC score minimum 600)
