Internship Qualifications
• Undergraduate students currently studying in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year, depending on the requirements of each position. Graduate students are also welcome to apply.
• Minimum GPA of 2.75.
• Demonstrate a “Can-Do Attitude” and willingness to learn.
• Able to participate in the onsite internship program at Banpu Head Office:

• International students are responsible for arranging their own Non-Immigrant ED Visa and accommodation in Bangkok.

Responsibilities:
The CVC team invests in and partners with startups, funds and strategic partners that support Banpu's growth in AI and energy. The intern will work directly with the team on investment analysis and business development across AI infrastructure, data centers, energy technology and decarbonization.
- Market research: Research markets and technology trends in AI infrastructure, data centers, power-for-compute and energy tech, with a focus on Southeast Asia.
- Deal sourcing: Source and screen startups and funds against the CVC investment thesis, and maintain the deal pipeline.
- Due diligence: Support due diligence on live deals, including market sizing, competitive analysis and business model review.
- Financial analysis: Build financial models, valuation analyses and scenario analyses.
- Business development: Map potential partners (technology providers, developers, utilities, customers) and prepare for meetings with startups, investors and partners.
- Materials: Draft investment memo sections, investment committee materials and management presentations.
Expected Deliverables:
- Market landscape of AI infrastructure and energy-for-compute in Southeast Asia
- Startup/fund pipeline tracker with profiles of top targets
- Due diligence support and investment memo sections for 1–2 live deals
- Final findings presentation to CVC leadership
