Business Analyst

Job Summary:

This role will manage the business development opportunity as well as evaluate the new businesses in Energy Technology business, focusing on battery and data center businesses, in order to drive the business growth toward company objectives with corporate strategy alignment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide research and information to management on Politics, Economics, Technology, Market Research, Business, and Industry Trends
• Research, identify and select potential partners by conducting feasibility study on the potential and make recommendation on the findings to management.
• Prepare financial model and analyze financial performance for any opportunity lead to identify key trends and findings for the management reports and presentation as required.
• Conducting scenario analysis based on macro and micro factors that will help in accessing risk.
• Identifying the key financial and non-financial risks, recommending action for mitigation of those risks
• Review of financial statements and management accounts of the targeted company
• Prepare the documents for internal approval purposes including, Board of Director’s Presentation, and related documents, and make recommendations to management.
• Develop and manage the execution plan for each opportunity screening to meet business requirements and objectives.
• Ensure that the project deliverables are managed within the budget, to a high standard of quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• 4 year of work experience in quantitative analysis in investments, research, risk management, or strategy management
• Experience in investment banking and M&A, especially in the energy sector, would be an advantage.
• Should possess business development skills including accounting, financial modeling, valuation, and analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving ability, decision making ability, time management and good understanding of business acumen.
• Good communications skills, collaborative attitude with demonstrated experience partnering with a variety of colleagues and business partners.
• Good command of English (TOEIC score 600 and above)
