Banpu Received ISO 22301:2012 Certification for its Business Continuity Management System
On 21 August 2019, Banpu Public Company Limited received ISO 22301:2012 certification for its Business Continuity Management System (BCMS). The certification was bestowed by Mr. Prawal tong Tongyai Na Ayudhaya, the Certification Manager of Bureau Veritas (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to Banpu representatives, Mr. Jirameth Achcha, Head of Corporate Services, and his team at meeting room on 27th floor, Bangkok office.
Banpu Public Company Limited is one of the top organizations in Thailand that has been certified to ISO 22301: 2012 from Bureau Veritas (Thailand) Co., Ltd., under UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) accreditation in the scope of “Enterprise functions including corporate affairs, strategy; core function of commercial and support functions for supply of coal to customers in Thailand and warehouse operations at Ayutthaya and Kanchanaburi”. This certification shows that Banpu has an efficient and reliable business continuity management system, and fully operates according to international standards. This also ensures that Banpu is able to continuously operate its business even in times of crisis, following through its mission to build sustainable value for all our stakeholders as a trusted partner, with emphasis on care for the earth and society.
