Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead the budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling process to support short-term and long-term strategic planning, highlighting potential risks and opportunities. Prepare and execute the delivery of accurate budget with variance analysis compared to forecast and actual results. Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
  • Financial Closing: Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end  financials including the consolidated accounts in accordance with IFRS for the group reporting purpose. Work in conjunction with the subsidiary’s accounting team and auditors to publish the financials in a timely manner.
  • Deal Analysis: Utilize energy expertise to identify opportunities and challenges in the potential deals/corporate transactions, providing recommendations to the management and board of directors to expand the portfolio while optimizing the financial performance.
  • Financing: Assist the General Manager in fundraising to support  new investments.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including the finance & accounting team of the subsidiairy, auditors, regulatory bodies, business partners, management team in the U.S. and Thailand, to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes, systems, and reporting to drive efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related filed. CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred. MBA is strongly desirable.
  • At least 5 years experience in progressively responsible roles. Energy business experience is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, business laws and tax regulations. Prior experience in financing is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable dealing with executives. Able to liase confidently and influence at all levels.
  • Work well indently and in a team environment. Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
  • Excellent numerical and problem-solving skills – including strong attention to detail and Excel/Financial Modeling skills.
  • Good command of spoken & written English.
  • Able and willing to travel and work aboard (United States).
