Manager - DCOE

Job Summary

To lead Banpu China digital transformation and digital value delivery across the organization. The role is responsible for leading the digital team to translate Corporate and Banpu China digital strategy into executable initiatives, governing digital delivery standards, and building scalable, reusable digital capabilities. The position drives business value realization, accelerates adoption of digital solutions, and strengthens digital culture, agile ways of working, and people capability building.

Key Role and Responsibilities 

• Lead and execute enterprise digital transformation strategy in alignment with Group and local business priorities.

• Establish and govern the Digital Center of Excellence (DCoE), including standards, frameworks, and best practices for digital delivery.

• Oversee identification, prioritization, and delivery of digital use cases to ensure measurable business value, scalability, and reuse.

• Drive agile delivery models, design thinking practices, and product-centric ways of working across digital initiatives.

• Partner with senior stakeholders and different business units, including power plants and solar farms, to translate business needs and pain points into digital initiatives and roadmaps.

• Build digital capability and culture through training programs, coaching, and continuous learning initiatives.

• Monitor performance, adoption, and value realization of digital initiatives and continuously improve delivery effectiveness.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

• 10–15 years of experience in digital transformation, technology leadership, or digital delivery roles.

• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-scale digital initiatives.

• Strong exposure to agile delivery models and senior stakeholder engagement.

• At least 5 years’ team management experience

Preferred Certifications (Optional)

• • Agile / Scrum certification
  • Project or Product Management certification (e.g., PMP, Product Owner)
  • Digital transformation, data, or AI‑related certifications
  • Energy sector digital transformation experience is a plus, i.e. Power plant, solar farms etc.
