Job Summary:
Originate and develop C&I distributed PV, utility-scale PV and BESS projects from opportunity identification through permitting and development completion, building a qualified project pipeline and enabling timely handover for execution.
Responsibilities:
• Develop C&I distributed PV, utility-scale PV and BESS opportunities; monitor renewable-energy policies, electricity-market developments and regional opportunities to expand the project pipeline.
• Conduct site assessments and evaluate key project conditions including land/rooftop resources, customer load, grid access and major development constraints.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to complete preliminary technical, commercial and financial feasibility assessments and support project investment evaluation.
• Lead project permitting and approvals, including project filing, grid connection, land use and planning; coordinate with relevant authorities and counterparties to resolve development issues.
• Prepare commercial proposals, lead negotiations and coordinate execution of development and cooperation agreements.
• Build and maintain relationships with government authorities, grid companies, project owners and business partners; track project progress, costs and risks and report status to management.
• Prepare investment and project approval materials, maintain the project pipeline and hand over qualified projects to the Project Management team upon completion of the development phase.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Energy, Engineering Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in renewable-energy project development, preferably in PV, BESS or related projects; experience independently developing greenfield projects is preferred.
