Your role will be responsible for

•    Managing day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure the efficient receipt, storage and distribution of materials and equipment
•    Developing and implementing strategies to improve warehouse efficiency, housekeeping and safety standards
•    Managing warehouse inventory, including large catalogues and high-value stock
•    Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders
•    Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations
•    Supporting and leading warehouse improvement projects, including facility upgrades and yard layout optimisation
•    Supporting operations by maintaining housekeeping standards in warehouse and yard.
•    Ensuring warehouse activities are conducted in accordance with site safety standards and operational requirements

Suitable candidates will have

•    A minimum of five years' experience in logistics or warehouse operations
•    Previous experience within the resources sector or heavy engineering environment
•    Demonstrated experience managing large catalogues and high-value inventories
•    Current forklift licence
•    Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
•    Strong commercial awareness and sound decision-making skills
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•    Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities
•    Ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing operational demands
•    A demonstrated commitment to safety and continuous improvement
