Stores Warehouse Controller

About the Role

Centennial are currently recruiting for a Stores Warehouse Controller to join our Northern Coal Services and Cooranbong team in the Lake Macquarie region.

This is a diverse and hands-on role for an organised and proactive individual who can support warehouse operations, inventory management, and site logistics across multiple operational areas. The role will play a key part in ensuring materials, equipment, and supplies are available to support safe and efficient mining operations.

Working across both Northern Coal Services and Cooranbong, this position requires flexibility, strong planning capability, and the ability to adapt to changing operational priorities.

Your role will be responsible for

•    Supporting safe and efficient warehouse, stores, purchasing, and inventory operations across NCS and Cooranbong
•    Maintaining inventory levels in line with operational requirements and business plans
•    Monitoring inventory movements and ensuring accurate data entry and stock control through Pulse and associated systems
•    Preparing, staging, and distributing materials, spare parts, PPE, and equipment to operational areas
•    Operating materials handling equipment including forklifts and managing warehouse logistics activities
•    Supporting freight coordination and transport logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery outcomes
•    Collaborating with Commercial, Warehouse, operational teams, suppliers, and contractors to support operational continuity

Suitable candidates will have:

•    Demonstrated experience in warehouse, stores, supply chain, or inventory coordination roles
•    Experience operating within mining, industrial, manufacturing, or heavy industry environments
•    Current forklift licence with experience handling heavy and unusual loads
•    Experience using ERP systems such as Pulse or similar inventory/purchasing platforms
•    Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
•    Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills
•    Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
•    High attention to detail with strong inventory and stock control capability
•    Commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement
•    Flexibility to provide support and leave coverage across multiple Centennial operations
