Shortwall Coordinator - Clarence

We are currently looking for a Shortwall Coordinator that wants to build a lucrative career in the mining industry and secure a role with our western based operation – Clarence Colliery.

Your responsibilities will include

•    Implement and manage Mine Safety and Environmental Management Systems
•    Ensure operational statutory compliance for Shortwall services & equipment
•    Oversee the operational maintenance of Shortwall mining process
•    Review equipment availability and delays with the Shortwall Superintendent & Engineers
•    Manage operational Work Order compliance
•    Develop and review operational Safe Work Procedures for tasks within your area
•    Assist with equipment availability improvement plans

Suitable candidates will have

•    NSW Deputy’s Certificate of Competency (or recognised equivalent through Mutual Recognition).
•    Current NSW Deputy’s Practising Certificate.
•    Strong understanding of compliance, safety systems and environmental requirements
•    Excellent communication and leadership skills
•    High-level computer competency and familiarity with maintenance systems
