Centennial are currently recruiting for an experienced Recruitment Specialist to manage talent acquisition activities and complement the Corporate Services team, based in our Fassifern Office. 


With a solid recruitment background, you will have experience with end-to-end recruitment practices and a passion for delivering strong candidate engagement experiences. 

 


Reporting to the Executive General Manager Corporate Services, the role is responsible for

 

  • Drafting vacancy advertisements and posting ads across various online platforms
  • Managing candidate sourcing strategies, screening, shortlisting, and coordinating interviews
  • Managing online talent sourcing tools including Seek and Linked In
  • Facilitating recruitment steps and candidate progression in line with internal recruitment policy and procedures
  • Drafting contracts for employment and making verbal employment offers
  • Building strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders to ensure positive and timely recruitment experience
  • Maintain excellent candidate records and development of candidate pools and databases
  • Communicating with all candidates regarding application outcomes
  • Supporting internal development programs including apprentices, trainees, graduates and cadets
  • Managing and attending industry related recruitment expos and events to support recruitment activities and maintain industry visibility for development programs
  • Lending support to internal development programs including apprenticeships, traineeships, graduates and cadets

Suitable candidates will have

 

  • Formal qualifications in Human Resources or Recruitment
  • 2 years’ experience working in an end-to-end recruitment role
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent computer literacy, including MS Office suite
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent understanding of privacy and confidentiality in relation to recruitment practices
  • Previous experience planning for and attending industry based events and expos
  • Proven experience in effective candidate engagement and recruitment strategies
  • Previous experience using SuccessFactors, Linked In Recruiter and Seek may be advantageous
