Multiskilled Mineworker - Mandalong

About the Role

We are currently looking for Multiskilled Mineworkers that want to build a lucrative career in the mining industry and secure a role with our northern based operation – Mandalong Mine.

Conveniently located in the Lake Macquarie region, a short drive from Newcastle and the Central Coast, this role is an excellent opportunity to work in a surface-based mining operation.

Reporting to the Mine Deputy, your responsibilities will include:

•    Operation of machinery and vehicles to support achievement of coal production targets
•    Assist with the installation, servicing and repairs of machinery and equipment
•    Assist to identify and report any safety concerns and possible improvements
•    Communicate with and report to Mine Deputy pre and post shift to ensure effective shift consultation

Suitable candidates will have:

•    Previous experience working in underground coal mining
•    Driver’s license
•    Excellent work ethic and attendance record
•    Commitment to site safety, operational practices, and mine production targets
