Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, your responsibilities include

 

 

  • Assisting with the development of first workings and extraction schedules and updating mine schedules 
  • Management of strata data and monitoring
  • Planning and allocating of support consumables 
  • Development of Hazard and Support Plans
  • Conducting primary and secondary support audits
  • Assisting with Mine Ventilation commitments 
  • Reviewing and updating documents and procedures as required
  • Management of site projects

Suitable candidates will have

 

 

  • Tertiary Mining Engineering qualifications
  • Previous experience working in an underground environment (preferably a minimum of 2 years)
  • Experience with mine planning software or willingness to participate in mine planning software training
  • Excellent work ethic and attendance record
  • Commitment to site safety, operational practices, and mine production targets
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Sound computer literacy skills
