Mechanical Trades Technician - Northen Coal Services

Conveniently located in the Lake Macquarie region, a short drive from Newcastle and the Central Coast, this role is an excellent opportunity to work in a surface-based mining operation.

Centennial Northern Coal Services is currently seeking an enthusiastic Mechanical Technician to operate, inspect and maintain coal processing and associated equipment across our highly productive operations.  

Key Responsibilities:

•    Perform hands-on maintenance of processing equipment including conveyors, bins, crushers, screens, and truck loading systems
•    Conduct routine inspections and respond to mechanical issues promptly
•    Work safely and effectively both independently and as part of a team

About You:

•    Qualified Mechanical Tradesperson (Mechanical Fitter)
•    Experience in welding, hydraulic systems, lifting and dogging (highly desirable)
•    Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work unsupervised
•    Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
