Logistics & Finance Superintendent

An exciting opportunity is available in our Sydney office for a motivated professional to fill the role of Logistics and Finance Superintendent. You will be a detail-focused individual with the ability to manage diverse and competing priorities within the Finance team. 

This role will ideally be suited to individuals with multi-faceted financial experience.

Reporting to the Executive General Manager Marketing, Sales & Logistics, you will be responsible for

Logistics

• Coordinate with operations quality control staff
• Schedule shipping and rail requirements to meet contractual obligations
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation
• Maintain logistics database
• Reconcile rail and port invoices
• Liaise with mine operations and logistics partners
• Backup and support the wider marketing and logistics team.

Finance

• Reconcile and administer bank guarantees with counterparties,
• Work with operations around rehabilitation guarantees,
• Maintain administration of credit cards,
• Assist in our delegated authority processes,
• Backup and support the wider finance team.

Suitable candidates will have

•    Finance accounting background preferred
•    Relevant experience in roles such as marketing, logistics or finance
•    5+ years’ experience in a corporate environment
•    Strong technical skills and an eye for detail
•    Sound excel competency and modelling skills
•    Strong relationship building skills
•    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
•    Knowledge of resource and mining sectors may be advantageous
•    Excellent time management and work flow flexibility skills
