Environmental Coordinator - Western Region

Reporting to the General Manager Environmental Social Governance , your responsibilities will include:

•    Leading operational environmental activities to minimise environmental impacts across the site
•    Ensuring compliance with environmental licences, approvals and statutory requirements
•    Managing and overseeing mine site rehabilitation programs
•    Developing environmental management plans, preparing technical documentation and reports, and supporting government approval processes
•    Working collaboratively as part of a high-performing environmental team, contributing expertise, sharing knowledge, and supporting collective success across the operation
•    Driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing best-practice environmental management strategies

Suitable candidates will have

•    Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science or a related discipline
•    Minimum 4+ years’ experience in environmental management within mining or heavy industry.
•    Strong knowledge and understanding of State and Federal environmental legislation
•    Exceptional report writing, data analysis and problem-solving skills
•    A strong commitment to safety, compliance and operational best practice
