Electrical Superintendent - Fassifern

We are currently seeking an Electrical Superintendent to join our Corporate Engineering Team based in Fassifern. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead electrical engineering functions across multiple underground coal operations.

Reporting to the Group Engineering Manager, your role will be responsible for:

•    Managing a range of Electrical Engineering functions across multiple underground coal sites
•    Overseeing site-wide Electrical statutory compliance and standards
•    Acting as the key contact for electrical contracts, issues, and engineering strategies across the group
•    Coaching, mentoring, and supporting electrical professionals to foster technical development and ensure compliance
•    Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency
•    Assist leave coverage across the group where required

Suitable candidates will have

•    Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering
•    NSW Electrical Engineering Manager Certificate of Competency / Mutual Recognition (or higher)
•    NSW Electrical Engineering Manager Practising Certificate
•    Compliance with Learning and Completion Hours as required under the Maintenance of Competence scheme
•    Extensive experience managing electrical engineering functions in underground coal mining
•    Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
•    A commitment to safety, teamwork, and operational excellence
