We are currently looking for Mine Deputies (Team Leaders) that want to build a lucrative career in the mining industry and secure a role with our western based operations – Airly Mine, Clarence Colliery and Springvale Colliery.

Reporting to the Shift Undermanager, your responsibilities will include
- Carrying out inspections within your area of responsibility
- Participating in effective pre and post shift handovers
- Completing shift reports precisely and accurately
- Conducting pre-shift address with your crew members, ensuring their understanding and adherence to the shift plan and awareness of relevant hazards, and required controls
- Ensuring health, safety and compliance issues are reported to the Undermanager and that crew members follow the correct reporting process on site
- Positively influencing the working culture of your crew through driving urgency and ownership of results, and through coaching and mentoring

Suitable candidates will have
- NSW Deputy’s Certificate of Competency / Mutual Recognition (or higher)
- NSW Deputy’s Practising Certificate
- Compliance to the Learning and Completion Hours of the Maintenance of Competence for Practising Certificates
- Excellent work ethic and attendance record
- Commitment to site safety, operational practices, and mine production targets
- Strong leadership experience
